Terms and Conditions

Insight Pest Solutions (“IPS”) agrees to provide service in accordance with the terms and conditions on the front and back of this agreement.

The Customer agrees to pay the seasonal subscription fees, receive the services outlined in this agreement, and make the premises available for IPS to perform those services. The Customer authorises IPS to apply pesticides at the service location and agrees to contain all pets/animals during the technician's visit. IPS may cancel this agreement and assess applicable termination fees and service charges if the Customer fails to pay the subscription fees or refuses the services outlined herein.

This agreement is for treatment only; IPS's sole obligation is to provide the treatments described.

This agreement does not guarantee against present or future insect or rodent damage to buildings or contents, nor does it provide for repair or compensation.

This agreement does not cover Dry-wood or Subterranean Termites or any other organism that is considered wood-destroying.

This agreement does not cover Bed Bugs, Cockroaches, Gypsy Moths, or Grubs.

Prices are subject to change; IPS reserves the right to increase prices at any time (except where a Province-Specific Addendum below states otherwise).

Because of scheduling variability, warranty services extend for 90 days from the last paid service; however, the warranty repoints to the next paid service once the due-month begins, in accordance with the service schedule.

Any pest-control equipment used or left behind remains the property of IPS. IPS will send a technician to remove the equipment upon cancellation of this agreement.

IPS is not liable for any actual or consequential damages to property or contents resulting from Bed Bugs, stinging pests, or any other pests, nor for repairs to buildings or contents. IPS's liability is limited to the amount the Customer has paid for the services rendered.

Service scheduling is predetermined by area and availability. Visit dates may vary by ± 2 weeks to accommodate routing and may not fall on the exact calendar date of the due month. After IPS notifies you of the scheduled date, you may move the work order by up to 3 weeks within the same month.

IPS does not guarantee against the future presence of Bed Bugs, Termites, Cockroaches, or any other pests.

After the initial agreement period (minimum 12 months) this agreement continues month-to-month unless IPS receives notice to stop service at least 30 days before the next subscription charge. If notice is not received, the Customer agrees to pay that charge.

If the Customer cancels before the end of the initial 12-month period, the Customer must pay a cancellation fee equal to one quarterly service (plus any Province-Specific fee set out below).

All payments are due on the regular subscription cycle. A 1.5% monthly finance charge applies to balances over 30 days old. Severely delinquent accounts may be sent to collections, and reasonable collection fees will be added. Failure to pay in full terminates this agreement immediately and relieves IPS of all obligations.

If IPS cannot access part of the property because of locked gates, animals, or other obstacles, IPS will treat the accessible areas and charge the full rate. IPS will return to treat previously inaccessible areas if requested during the same service period.

The Customer must notify IPS before service if any occupant is allergic or sensitive to pesticides or has underlying health conditions.

If the Customer enrols in Automatic Payment (APAY), the Customer authorises IPS to debit the designated card or account each subscription cycle. An incorrect entry may be reversed. Cancelling APAY does not cancel the pest-control service agreement.

  • This does not guarantee against present or future insect damage to buildings or contents, nor provide for repair or compensation.
  • This agreement does not provide for the control or prevention of termites or any other wood-destroying insects, organisms, or any other pest not identified herein, except carpenter ants if the carpenter ant coverage is selected. CUSTOMER expressly waives and releases COMPANY from any liability and/or for any claim for personal injury or damages to the structure or its contents caused by wood-destroying insects, organisms, or any other arthropods listed or not listed in this agreement.
  • COMPANY does not guarantee against the elimination of bed bugs or against the present or future presence of any other arthropod or pests. COMPANY is not liable for any actual or consequential damages to the property or its contents sustained by the customer as a result of bed bugs or any other arthropods or pests. COMPANY is not liable for any form of repairs to buildings or its contents. COMPANY is not liable for any injury or damages resulting from contact with any product used by COMPANY to treat the premises.
